Questions for job seekers
How do you decide which assignments are suitable for me?
We assess your skills, experience and preferences during an intake interview and match them with the requirements of our clients to find the most suitable assignments for you.
How is my salary determined?
We reward in accordance with the hirer's remuneration, which means that you receive the same employment conditions as the client's employees. This is often regulated by a collective labor agreement. During the selection process, we will tell you more about your specific situation.
What are your training opportunities?
We believe it's important that you have the skills to succeed in your current and future role at GR8 Move, which is why we are happy to invest in your education. This can range from a day course in forklift driving to an extensive course in Electrical Engineering.
What happens if I'm not satisfied with an assignment?
Together, we evaluate the situation and look for a solution, such as another assignment that suits you better or additional support to improve the current work.
How do you deal with feedback and guidance during an assignment?
We stay in touch regularly to discuss how things are going and offer support with questions or problems. We also collect feedback from the client to help you out.
Am I accruing a pension?
Yes, with us, you will immediately be part of the STIPP plus scheme.
Can I get a phase 3 or 4 contract with GR8 Move?
Yes, of course, we try to bind all our people to us.
questions for employers
Is a transfer of employment possible?
Absolutely, we see that as proof that we understand what you are looking for. In consultation, we will make an appointment about transfers of employment at the start.
What are your rates?
We work with rates that suit the client, in some cases these are fixed rates and in others they vary per candidate.
Can you also arrange housing, transport and tools?
Absolutely! We always strive for the shortest possible travel distance, our transport does not bear our logo, so it is very anonymous. We only work with high-quality (electric) tools.
What if the candidate is not of good quality?
That can happen, of course. We work with a 48-hour probationary period as standard. If the candidate does not like it in the first 2 days you can cancel free of charge, meaning: You will not receive an invoice at all for these 2 days worked. You can cancel, but we would rather talk about the underlying reason. Perhaps it helps to let the candidate take additional courses or a good conversation is all it takes.
Do you have a blocked account (G account)?
Definitely. We think it's important that our relationships are protected against defaults. That is why we also have ourselves inspected every year for our SNA registration (NEN 4400-1) and we can show a recent Statement of Payment Behavior for Hirer Liability.
Do you pay the salaries yourself?
Our salaries are paid to our own payroll tax number. We use Blue Services Group.
questions about housing
What are the rules for my stay?
Quiet hours between 22:00 - 07:00. No smoking, no drugs and excessive alcohol consumption. Keep the home tidy and clean. Visits are allowed, they are not allowed to stay overnight. Report repairs as soon as possible via the portal using the QR code.
My project ends, do I have to leave my property?
No, we always think along and usually give the employee an extra week of accommodation at our expense. So that our (former) employees do not end up on the street.
I have my own home. Can I work for you?
Absolutely, no problem.
What is the procedure for complaints or repairs?
There is a QR code in every home, which takes you to our property management portal. Repairs, complaints and suggestions can be shared here. Within 24 hours (in case of urgency, of course), complaints will be addressed and any repairs will be scheduled. Communication about this takes place via the portal. Our contractors, handymen, etc., are also connected via this portal.
Is a deposit required and, if so, how does the refund work?
No deposit is required.
What happens to housing when my work stops or my contract ends?
You are entitled to maintain housing for 4 weeks after the end of employment. Article 36 paragraph 5. of the NBBU/Uitzendcao clearly describes this: “If the temporary employment agreement ends, there is a transition period of 4 weeks within which the temporary worker must leave the housing he rents from the employer. The rental price remains at most the same as the rental price during employment. The temporary worker pays the rent on a weekly basis.”
What are the costs of housing?
We deduct the costs of housing from your paycheck, we strive to keep the costs as low as possible for you. We are doing this quite well, but sometimes a small contribution is needed. We will then discuss this with you well in advance during the process.
Where is the property and how far is it from my workplace?
We ensure that your accommodation is close to your workplace, such as a maximum travel time of 30 minutes. Our homes are located in the Rotterdam region (from South to North, East to West). If you are going to work for a client outside Rotterdam, we will provide accommodation near the workplace.
